Amoy Street opens 7am weekdays · Amoy Street Food Centre #02-126 · Hotel Mi Bencoolen · 227 South Bridge Road
Since October 2023

Three first-time hawkers.

Jass came from marketing. Han was a technician. Aaron was a mechanic. In October 2023 we signed for stall #02-126 at Amoy Street Food Centre and started pulling shots for the breakfast queue.

The mission is the same one we opened with: making third wave coffee accessible to the hawker crowd. A second counter followed at Hotel Mi Bencoolen, and a third at 227 South Bridge Road.

The mission

Making third wave coffee accessible to the hawker crowd.

No shortcuts

The beans

Grade 1 Indonesian robusta with Brazilian and Indonesian arabica. Pure robusta beans, not the half sugar corn, margarine, butter etc + half beans mixed.

The machine

A Nuova Simonelli that cost close to S$10,000. Every drink on the board goes through it.

The honey

Real honey, not those fake “sugar honey”.

The bill

Kopi from $1.90, specialty from $3.30. You are in a hawker centre, you should pay like it.
